As the audio & video operations manager, you will undertake a wide range of activities that support the commercial operational needs for these two growing platforms.

The role is designed to provide a high level of support to a team tasked with facilitating digital advertising growth for The Wall Street Journal. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues from news, product, technology, advertising sales and our partners to create opportunities for growth while also providing the essential role of internal problem solver.

As the Audio & Video Operations Manager, you will:

* Work with the sales and planning team to assist in facilitating sponsorship opportunities and help them run smoothly once sold
* Work with RevOps to evaluate current audio and video packages and identify continued optimizations

* Be the main point of contact for the marketing team to ensure all sales materials are up to date and accurate for current go to market opportunities.

* Manage relationships with other podcast publishers to maintain funnel of cross promotion opportunities.

* Be the supporting point of contact for news, product, technology for all things audio and video

* Be the supporting point of contact for external partners including Twitter and Gimlet for collaboration and growth of partnership products.

* Work across teams to eliminate internal barriers, be a problem solver

* Provide follow-up to meetings; turn concepts into actionable opportunities

* Liaise with WSJ membership team to develop mutually beneficial strategies for growth

* Pay close attention to industry best practices; surface trends and recommend new tactics

Technical skills that would make you a good fit for this role include:

* Strong knowledge of Google suite of products (Google slides and sheets), MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
* Knowledge of the digital the advertising system and basic understanding of podcast ecosystem

* Be comfortable with numbers

Requirements:

* A college degree (or equivalent work experience)
* Job experience in other large companies with complex structures
