Process Operator (Agglomeration)

Job Responsibilities:

* Ensure efficient and economical production of powdered animal milk replacer in accordance with customer requirements and established standards.
* Operate all equipment of the agglomeration process
* Follow all Quality Assurance procedures (moisture addition, steam addition, moisture, temperature, cone heights, particle size, etc.)
* Follow all process Standard Operating Procedures
* Complete all paperwork and records in their entirety and accurately
* Agglomeration log
* Agglomeration process log
* Etc.
* Notify Quality Assurance of any quality issues
* Report all equipment problems/issues in writing
* Follow all safety procedures (Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Fall Protection, PPE, etc.)
* Follow company housekeeping procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment

Other duties to include:

* Operate all equipment of the base and post mixing processes
* Verify all formulas prior to mixing products
* Follow all process Standard Operating procedures
* Follow all Quality Assurance procedures
* Provide and maintain accurate recordkeeping
* Drug usage records
* Current labels
* Base and Post Production Records
* Hand add information
* Reporting all equipment issues in writing
* Follow company housekeeping procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment
* Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Major Functions:

* To have a complete understanding of the entire Agglomeration process/system. Perform the agglomeration process of base mix formulas consistent with Animal Milk Products quality standards.
* To have a complete understanding of the entire Base Mix and Post Mix mixing processes/systems. Perform the base and post mixing processes of powdered milk replacer consistent with Animal Milk Products quality standards.

Hours: Monday through Friday 3:15pm-11:45pm plus overtime when needed.
Wage: $22.58/hour starting at $21.58/hour for first 90 days plus shift differential of $0.65/hour

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
Required Qualifications & Experiences: 18 years or older, 6+ months of manufacturing experience, and Forklift Experience and/or Certification

Preferred Qualifications & Experiences: Able to trouble shoot mechanical problems
