L3Harris' DoD SkillBridge/Career Skills Program is connecting transitioning service members to career training opportunities within our organization. We will provide service members with valuable civilian work experience through industry specific training, certifications and on the job experience during their DoD Skillbridge/Career Skills Program to help them ready themselves for their next mission.

Job Description: THIS IS A DOD SKILLBIRDGE OPPORTUNITY. The candidate will learn how to manage projects from all facets of employee management and training, procurement and materials, and customer relations. Learn how to plan, execute, monitor, control and close out on projects, while meeting budgetary restrictions and crucial timeline milestones. During this program the selected candidate will learn how to develop and maintain spend plans to monitor labor, material and travel funding. The candidate will learn how to manage and coordinate personnel training, timecards and access under the scope of the assigned project.

Essential Functions and Competencies to be learned:

* Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight
* Communicate within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices and procedures
* Responsible for capturing trainer operational status and fault details
* Provide weekly progress status to stakeholders
* Learn to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics
* Project Finance (budgeting, forecasting, and analysis)

Qualifications:

* Secret Clearance is required
* Eligible for DoD Skillbridge/Career Skills Program
* Will be within last 180 days of active duty service upon start of program
* Candidate should have above average expertise in Microsoft Office applications particularly MS Power Point, MS Excel and MS Word (e.g. development of forms)
* Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with MS Office suite to include Access and Project
* Strong analytical, problem solving, and writing skills are critic

Preferred Additional Skills:

* Exposure to personnel management
* Exposure to engineering concepts
* Knowledge of NAVSEA standards
