We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our Site Services Team in the position of Shipping/Receiving & Warehouse Coordinator working in the Polyurethanes Divisions Auburn Hills, MI location.

The Site Services Team is a support unit within the Polyurethanes business that has the responsibility to support all associates on-site in Sales, Marketing, Research & Development and Technical Support who are aimed at growing the market for polyurethane materials. Huntsman Polyurethanes goal is to become the most differentiated supplier of urethane products to the industry, and this role is key to supporting the Auburn Hills facility.

What will be expected from you?

* Prepare chemical samples and other miscellaneous packages for shipping. Physically package samples in cans, pails, drums or boxes etc. Label shipment according to Department of Transportation and/or IATA regulations and contact appropriate carrier(s) for shipping & delivery.
* Prepare documents for all shipments as applicable: Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Shippers Declaration for Dangerous Goods, Shippers Declaration for Articles not Regulated as Dangerous Goods, Canadian Customs Invoice and US Customs Invoice for inbound returns from customers.
* Ensure that all chemical samples shipped from the site have the proper documentation required (MSDSs, labels, technical data sheets), and that these samples have the required approvals.
* Receive and inspect all incoming chemical, laboratory, office and maintenance supplies to assure compliance with purchase order specifications; identify and report shortages, damaged goods or other discrepancies.
* Enter received items into SAP from outside vendors and other company locations. Check for accuracy on packing slips and delivery receipts against what has been entered in SAP. Work with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to keep receipts up to date and accurate.
* Maintain accurately SAP, Developmental, and ISO-9000 Customer Supplied Materials inventories stored in the warehouse.
* Review chemical inventory for expired materials, remove those that are and coordinate for disposal/resale. Work with accounting to have materials written off properly.
* Work with technical personnel to maintain proper inventory levels of essential raw materials and finished goods for development work on site and for shipments to customers.
* Deliver inventoried chemicals of drums via Forklift as requested by site technical personnel to the appropriate work area. Return chemicals to warehouse when chemical is no longer needed.
* Perform all duties in accordance with Huntsmans environment health and safety policies, as well as, Huntsmans corporate compliance and ethics policies.

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?

* High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum 5 years shipping/receiving/warehouse industrial experience.
* Certifications in the following three areas: 49 CFR Federal Government Hazardous Materials Transportation & Security Awareness, IATA International Air Transportation Association Hazardous Materials Transportation and 40 CFR Environmental Waste Management.
* Experience operating Forklifts, Loading Docks, Pallet Jacks, Drum Carts, Poly-Strapping and Steel Banding.
* Strong computer skills in SAP and Microsoft products with the ability to organize files and folders and utilize programs for warehouse management.
* Excellent communication skills as well as collaboration skills
* Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Independently assess daily activities and change priorities throughout the day while multi-tasking with different projects.
* Demonstrated safety mindset and proactive in safety and housekeeping.
