The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Vehicle Operations facility in York is our final assembly plant. Employees at York also perform a variety of manufacturing operations, including fabrication, welding, polishing and painting and produce a wide range of current and replacement parts for all models. Job Summary
Performs quality audits on both current production model vehicles as well as future models using knowledge of the current customer base. Has regular contact with the public, the motorcycle industry, and other departments and divisions in both furnishing and obtaining information. Through a wide variety of duties requiring considerable judgment to audit the total quality of a complete motorcycle.
Job Responsibilities
* Operate vehicles on controlled test tracks as well as public roads at both low and high speeds to evaluate the operating characteristics of a motorcycle.
* Perform visual cosmetic inspections of motorcycles with working knowledge of all related standards.
* Perform mechanical and operating inspections of motorcycles with working knowledge of all related standards.
* Construct audit reports and presents to multi-disciplined individuals, including customers, suppliers, engineers, union employees, technicians, and leadership.
* Communicate and implement quality or other CI opportunities to manufacturing and/or product development.

* Must hold a valid motorcycle operators license

* Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
* Requires a high degree of concentration ability while driving frequently to 85 miles per hour and negotiating curves at 65 miles per hour
