EXECUTIVE OFFICE

The Executive Office plays an integral role in setting and advancing Goldman Sachs strategy and in supporting and enhancing the firms distinctive culture. Position Description

The EO Client Strategy Group (CSG) works with teams across regions and divisions to drive the client interaction strategy on behalf of the firms executive officers, including David Solomon and John Waldron. Additionally, the team is responsible for collaborating with senior reps across the businesses to gather relationship updates and prepare briefing materials for the executives ahead of each client touchpoint. The team also coordinates the executives participation in key industry conferences and events, and helps prepare them for media engagements and other public speaking roles.

CSG also organizes the firms engagement in significant global events including the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the Milken Global Conference.

Responsibilities

* Develop client briefing materials in collaboration with senior relationship managers across divisions; track client interactions on an on-going basis in Salesforce
* Identify / target opportunities for Executive interaction (geographically and by division) by tracking market developments, industry trends, client relationships and business opportunities identified by divisions
* Determine strategy for Executive engagement at key annual conferences, and plan and manage the associated client events for those conferences
* Compile market, industry and company-specific analyses and reports for members of the Executive Office
