Facebooks Small Business Group is looking for a Manager to lead its Sales Performance team. The Small Business Group (SBG) contributes directly to Facebooks mission by connecting every small business in the world with their customers on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger, and then helping them grow through solutions like pages, advertising, messaging, commerce and many other tools. We succeed when we help our customers grow their business. The Small Business Group at Facebook is one of two sales channels responsible for Facebooks multi-billion dollar advertising business. Our Small Business Team helps more than 99% of Facebooks 10 million plus advertisers, and our potential business is even larger with more than 200 million businesses using our free tools to connect with customers. As the Manager of SBGs Sales Performance team you will be responsible for the design and development of globally consistent strategies and functions essential to the successful delivery of SBGs sales programs and Regional sales goals. This position directly leads a team of at least 5 sales managers who drive alignment and cross-functional strategy to streamline best practices globally which may include: lead generation, pipeline management, strategic go-to-market coordination, frontline agent communication, customer perspective, and sales innovation. The Sales Performance Manager reports to the Global Director of Small Business Sales, and is responsible for leading strategy in the aforementioned areas and integrating the work closely with Regional Sales Director peers to ensure successful high quality and efficient go to market for the Small Business Sales programs. A successful candidate in this role will have a track record of success operating in a highly ambiguous environment, designing dynamic strategies in new areas and leading through influence cross-functionally.

Manager, Sales Performance (Small Business) Responsibilities

* Leads the team responsible for developing strategy for globally consistent elements of key sales delivery functions including lead generation, go to market coordination, frontline communications, customer perspective and sales innovation

* Works with a multitude of cross-functional partners in each area to assess SBGs relative strength today, identify white space for growth and lead the team to progress and solve. Maintains constant awareness of adjacent teams and initiatives

* Coordinates closely with Regional Sales leads to factor their input into the development of centrally led strategies, and ensure successful regionalization as part of go to market

* Champions the fundamentals of successful sales delivery and helps lead org-wide initiatives and influence behavior change

* Represents these areas in Small Business Sales and SBG leadership forums, overseeing consistent reporting cross function

* Leads with clear communication, prioritization and vision. Has the ability to bring people along through ambiguity and change

* Manages a team of at least 5 direct reports, responsible for guiding professional development and growth

* Responsible for contributing to revenue and productivity goals

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

* 12+ years of direct experience driving top-line revenue growth and/or product and solutions adoption via scaled programs, channel sales initiatives, acquisition marketing, or equivalent experience

* 5+ years of experience managing a high performing team

* Experience running a business unit with responsibility for sales and P&L

* Experienced in customer segmentation and needs analysis, taking a data-driven approach to complex business problems

* Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional alignment at global level and influencing C-level decision makers externally
