Facebook is seeking a Strategic Partnership Manager Intern to support the development of a strategic plan for growing partnerships across emerging sports trends. This person will work with all of our Sports verticals (Athletes, Teams, Leagues, & Media) and cross-functionally with the Partner Solutions Analytics, Marketing, Product, Sales, and Communications teams to develop and launch new partnerships strategies that amplify the unifying power of sports to build community, connect fans to the content they love, and create sustainable value for partners. This is a hands-on and high-execution role which requires excellent data, research, and collaboration skills. We are looking for a strategic and results-driven person who is knowledgeable about the sports industry, the modern media landscape, and the Facebook Inc suite of products.
Strategic Partner Manager Intern Responsibilities
* Clearly define and size market opportunities across emerging sports trends
* Partner with North America Sports Partnerships colleagues to identify growth opportunities and deliver impactful scalable solutions
* Establish measurable goals and KPIs for prioritized opportunities
* Deliver inspiring presentations, provide insightful practices, and structure creative solutions
* Develop a detailed to go-to-market plan
* Track, analyze, influence, and communicate key metrics to build opportunities and experiences that create scale and meaningful ecosystem value
* Identify potential new partners
* Work with internal XFN across the FB family of apps
* Develop innovative partnership solutions utilizing Facebook and its platforms (e.g., Instagram, Oculus, Messenger) that support the business objectives of sports partners and Facebook while promoting great experiences for sports fans
Minimum Qualifications
* Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree
* Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
* Demonstrated interest in the sports industry
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills
* Outstanding relationship builder
* Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op
* Experience successfully using data and analysis to create and support business strategies
* Excellent project management experience, with the ability to lead and handle time-sensitive and cross-functional projects
