We are seeking a Global Project Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for the successful Operations and Engineering coordination of production facilities worldwide. This position reports to the Global Supply Chain Manager.
As a Global Project Manager, you will be expected to:
Project Coordination
* Serve as a champion for leading and sharing best practices across the factories
* Define the project scopes to include goals, deliverables, task, schedule, and cost
* Develop and maintain project implementation schedules to identify milestones and critical path tasks
* Oversee the implementation of project initiatives, including the communication of changes and assist in resolving any obstacles related to design, manufacturing, and/or supply chain issues
* Coordinate Production Planning activities between the plants to optimize capacity, as required
* Provide priority feedback based on the needs of the global plants
Quality Coordination
* Ensure Quality System is documented, understood and compliant with all factory specific and corporate requirements
* Ensure Control Plans or comparable documents, Acceptance Criteria & CTQ characteristics are specified and maintained in order to ensure expected levels of product safety and quality
* Ensure External and Internal Quality Issues are administered and coordinated across all factories to ensure standardized corrective and preventive actions
Manufacturing Engineering Coordination
* Ensure Equipment, Tools & Fixtures are specified, utilized and maintained in a standardized manner where quality, safety or productivity can be impacted
* Ensure Process Flow / Line Design are specified, utilized and maintained in a standardized manner where quality, safety or productivity can be impacted
* Ensure Product Certifications are understood and compliant with products being produced
* Ensure Product & Process changes, additions or obsolescence are coordinated across all factories
You are expected to be proficient in the following competencies:

Education / Experience Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other relevant field, and/or appropriate combination of experience and education
* Minimum 7 years' in operation processes and plant/manufacturing experience
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
* 5-day visits to each world area factory twice a year for relationship building, audits, support, problem solving, best practice sharing, etc.
* Flexible travel capabilities to accommodate any unforeseen urgent problems
* Flexible work hours to accommodate conference calls on alternate time zones
* Strong technical background in Quality and Manufacturing Engineering principles
* Strong communication, project management and facilitation skills in a multi-cultural environment
* Strong influential skills to work in a matrix environment with non-direct or dotted line reports across all factories
