Service Delivery Automation Senior Software Engineer

Join us as a Service Delivery Automation Senior Software Engineer on our remote Service Delivery software engineering team to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact, supporting one of Dells largest customers.

What youll achieve

As a Service Delivery Automation Senior Software Engineeron the Service Delivery software engineering team, you will provide operational support to customers and end users of Infrastructure delivery. Some of the tasks you will be responsible for:

* Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications

* Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-production of Infrastructure delivery services

* Measure and optimize the service, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve

* Be an active member of development teams improving services through rigorous testing and release procedures

* Participate in system design, platform management, and requirements planning

* Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts

Essential Requirements

* 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, or 3+ years with a Masters degree

* Ability to program with one or more high level languages, such as Python, Powershell, JavaScript, GO

* Experience developing applications that integrate with infrastructure technologies in on or more of the following component services: Hosting, Cloud, Storage, Backup, BareMetal, Operating Systems, Database, Delivery

* Ability to lead in a fast-paced mission-critical team environment

* Expertise in vRealize Automation and vRealize Orchestrator

* Strong technical aptitude

* Proven problem solving and organizational expertise

* Must be U.S. Person

Desirable Requirements

* Infrastructure product certifications

* ITIL V4 Certification

* Experience working in Agile environment

* Experience in Ansible
