What youll achieve
We are a team of expert Data Engineer, Analysts and Scientists. As a member of this global team you will be helping advance the analytical capabilities
directed at platform analytics of all data center products such servers, storage, networking and more. Additionally, your role will be critical to add capabilities to our global, AI centric Sales Enablement platform, one of a kind in the industry, working with wide range of business and engineering groups and technology areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Works toward developing a fundamentally new approach to how business infers meaning and value from data.
* Develops new methodologies and tools to enable advanced modelling and statistical analysis against petabyte-scale data sets.
* Works with internal stakeholders to prove the analytical capabilities in generating business insights from big data.
* Works with engineers to create new tools and features that support sophisticated analytics within the database.
* Interacts with business leaders to understand business strategy, conditions and problem areas
* Contributes to business strategy and influences decision making based on information gained from deep dive analysis
* Produces actionable & compelling recommendations by interpreting, exploring, identifying and communicating insights discovered from complex data sets
* Partners with both internal & external sources to gather and examine data from disparate sources with the goal of discovering previously hidden insights
* Designs, develops and programs methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured data to generate actionable insights and solutions
* Develops and codes software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources
* Constructs predictive models, algorithms and probability engines; verifies model and algorithm effectiveness based on actual results
* Develops and applies a broad range of techniques and theories from statistics, machine learning, AI framework and business intelligence to deliver actionable business insights to internal stakeholders based on large-scale data
* Works under little to no supervision with global teams
* Leads and performs end-to-end steps involved in model development, while establishing subject-matter expertise in key horizontal or vertical themes
* Executes data exploration, data preparation steps and variable/algorithm selection as well as model development/validation and scoring
* Independently develops and drives testing of algorithms efficacy for differing analytical use-cases
* Delivers results and presentations in a timely manner

Essential Requirements
* Should have worked as a Sr. Business analyst / Consultant with a reputed organization, preferably in high tech environment. Past experience in any Product Management function will be well appreciated too.
* Appropriate mathematical knowledge and strong statistical analysis skills with ability to work in global team environment
* Strong knowledge and experience in key data engineering and Data Science tools including: R, Python, SQL , MongoDB or equivalent tools
* 7-10 yrs of overall experience in a Data Analyst role with a Bachelors degree; or an advanced degree with equivalent experience.
* Strong understanding of business environment and industry trends, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable Requirements
* Experience in AI frameworks and tools is highly desired
* Knowledge on React, Angular and other web development experience is an added advantage.
* Tableau and PowerBI Visualization tools are key to business. Experience is good presentation skills and effective story telling can be differentiator.
