Core Lab Supervisor
This position is a Supervisor - Support Services. As such, will oversee the Point of Care program for the hospital, Phlebotomy Services, Specimen Processing, Esoteric reference testing, and Billing exceptions. Responsible for a staff of 11. Part of the laboratory leadership team.
Requirements:
* Medical Technologist, MLS (ASCP) or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years of lab experience preferred
* Preferable experience with Point of Care systems of waived or moderate complexity; staff scheduling; CAP guidelines; procedural writing, leadership
* Current BCLS/CPR certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider. Uploading a copy of your current BLS card to your application is strongly preferred.
* Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
