This position will report to: Jamie Garcia (Materials Supervisor)

Position Requirements:

* Ensure safety, quality, and delivery objectives are met and report progress to the proper level of management
* Receive and ship material in a timely and accurate manner within SAP
* Communicate with Customer Service to understand current customer ship requirements, including expedites
* Investigate and analyze problems pertaining to systems issues, inventory accuracy, shipping policies
* Perform root cause analysis and implement effective long-term corrective actions
* Ensure that customer rejects or defective parts are received in the system and returned to the appropriate team
* Ensure the companys human resource policies are communicated and enforced
* Ensure employees are trained and developed in all aspects of their job
* Maintain effective work relationships within the department and all levels of the company
* Promote safe work practices, conditions and habits.
* Participates in the development of department goals & objectives
* Promotes continuous improvement through teamwork and Lean Manufacturing techniques
* Responsible for maintaining adequate dunnage to support production requirements
* Schedule carriers for pickup of outbound material as necessary
* Must be able to drive a Forklift

Degree Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred.

Other Qualifications:

* Ability to attain a forklift license within 30 days
* Computer skills specifically SAP and additional Microsoft programs
* Problem Solving skills
* Strong interpersonal skills relative to leading a team: conflict resolution, motivation, delegation, etc.
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Experienced leading a team

Employees wishing to apply for LG 5 or below positions will be considered if they -

a) have record of previously completing and passing the prior employment testing requirements or

b) have record of completing the Wonderlic testing and received the required score to be eligible

c) Employees with a Wonderlic Score of 16 or higher and a Wiesen score of 40 or higher for this position
