The Boeing Aviation Data Solutions team is seeking a Software Developer in our Englewood Co location to develop and sustain an aviation data management system manages data for airlines and business customers around the world. The successful candidate will drive the daily execution of product development in a fast paced agile environment. We seek candidates who have skills in agile methodologies, software development and test automation.
As a member of the ADS team, you will be involved in the entire software development life cycle, from idea creation and development, all the way through to maintenance and support of the customers delivered system. The position will place you in roles where you have the opportunity to make an impact on the results of our project. The ADS team offers a collaborative mentoring environment where you have the opportunity to learn from or lead others.
Position Responsibilities:
Utilize Java and Angular languages to develop the maintenance system.
Agile development within a cross-discipline, global team.
Continuous integration, testing, and delivery within a CI/CD pipeline.
Utilize micro service container software architecture.
Perform static code analysis
Decompose complex requirements and capabilities into executable discrete user stories.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or other technical degree.
2+ years experience utilizing Agile development process.
2+ years experience developing frontend Angular (typescript) applications
3+ years experience in developing software unit tests and automated functional testing.
4+ years of experience developing backend applications in Java
Ability to work in both a Windows and Linux environment.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years experience with collaborative Confluence environment including JIRA.
WebLogic experience
Knowledge of Python and other scripting languages
SOAP/REST services experience
Relational database experience such as PostgreSQL
Knowledge of JIRA, GIT, Maven and other project management software
Cloud development experience such as Azure, AWS, or Google
