Shift 1

RESUMEN GENERAL (SUMMARY):

Lead a cultural transformation using cross functional teams and drive the creation of a management systems. Support and lead strategic planning efforts ensuring robust strategy and driving a sound and complete strategy deployment process. Drive EMS and OpEx program deployment at the site.

TAREAS Y RESPONSABILIDADES (DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES):

* Actively promote the use of the latest development tools and practices to improve, design or process quality while facilitating & supporting budgeting process.
* Drive OpEx program deployment at the site. Coach and mentor site Black Belt and Green Belt candidates to ensure timely completion of their quality and/or cost focused projects - ultimately leading to the candidates certification.
* Manage the value improvement and Kaizen Programs for Aibonito Plant. Maintain track of all VIP and Kaizen monthly. Help in the identification of value improvement and kaizen ideas and how they could be implemented.
* Independently plan, schedule cross functional team in detailed phases of the engineering work of a project of moderate scope.
* Manages multiple projects without direct supervision.
* Complete project target in the less amount of time with the fewest amount of resources.
* Involved in large scale program, at plant level mainly related to the EMS program.
* Maintain and motivate OPEX culture; serve as internal resource for all departments when opportunity for improvement is identified.
* Be capable of identifying value improvement opportunities to enhance plant capacity to sustain as an individual leader.
* Develop a site level OpEx deployment plan including EMS, VIP, Certification Programs, Best Practices Sharing, iCare and others.
* Able to perform specialized studies including processes and equipment evaluations in order to identify needs for improvement.
* Promote a zero-harm work place, and assure that required EHS resources are available and that all applicable EHS practices and rules are being followed by supervised employees.

DEMANDA FISICA (PHYSICAL DEMANDS):

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

EDUCACIN Y/O EXPERIENCIA (EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE):

Bachelors degree Independent of field. Masters degree Preferred

CUALIFICACIONES (QUALIFICATIONS):

* Eight (8) to ten (10) years experience
* Prior Supervision experience
* Computer literate
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Project Management knowledge/skills
* Technical writing and reporting skills
* Knowledgeable on process & equipment validation
* Certified 6 sigma Black Belt
* Strong negotiation skills
* Comprehensive knowledge of cGMP, FDA, & EHSS regulations
* Knowledge of statistical software and calculations
* Knowledge of TPM (Total Predictive maintenance) and TPR (Total Process Reliability)
* Strong OSHA and EHHS Knowledge
* Willing to travel outside of Puerto Rico
