Work Hours/Shift:
Relief AS Needed
You Will Be Responsible For:
* Treating co-workers, patients, physicians and guests with kindness, care and courtesy,

* Attendance patterns reflect commitment to job requirements and patient care needs.
* Maintaining confidentiality of patient and business information,

* The associate models positive customer service behavior.
* Demonstrates an acceptance and support of change throughout the department.
* Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis for each exam.
* Attends staff meetings to remain up to date with department/hospital policies and procedures.
* Maintains records of educational requirements for ICAEL and cardiac registry.
* Cleans and restocks echo procedure room to prepare for each patient, disinfects echo transducers, machine, and bed after each use.
* Transports patients to and from department to reduce lags in department schedule and patient wait times.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
* Adult Echocardiography
* BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
* Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) (New graduates have one year from date of graduation to acquire)
Job Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer performs non-invasive diagnostic echocardiographic procedures at a technical level that requires independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to support the physician in the diagnosis of heart disease.
