You Will Be Responsible For:
* Knowledge and understanding of QI processes, tools and problem solving methodologies
* Exhibits skill in analytic fundamentals to include the application of statistical processes, data analysis and reporting.
* Requires ability for independent, professional judgement
* Requires effective communication
* Effective oral and computer communication skills
* Ability to handle frequent interruptions
* Ability to handle stress related to interactions with directors, nursing staff, medical staff and administration
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
* Registered Nurse in the state of Texas
* Two years minimum nursing experience
* RHIA certification preferred
* CPHQ certification preferred
* HCQM certification preferred
Job Summary:
The Quality Management Specialist, RN is trained in or has a background in quality management, performance improvement and regulatory readiness. Is responsible for reviewing, analyzing driving, and reporting outcomes related to the organizations preparation and performance in quality, performance improvement and regulatory readiness. Mentors, coaches and educates hospital employees and assists in achieving excellence in federal, state, corporate and facility initiatives.
