Gastroenterology - Polk County, Florida (South Orlando)
AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for dynamic and energetic Gastroenterologists to serve the needs of Polk County, just south of Orlando. Located onsite at both AdventHealth Heart of Florida and AdventHealth Lake Wales, AHMG Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking partners with the desire to build a practice and foster collegial relationships with community-based physicians.
Ideal candidate should expect:
* Daily work schedule of outpatient and inpatient care
* Desire to handle a very high-volume case load
* Practice all aspects of general Gastroenterology
* Busy ED call at one hospital
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills
A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. The new physician should have the desire to join a busy practice and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth. ERCP preferred, but not required.
Board Certification in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) is required.

This is an employment opportunity through AdventHealth Medical Group, a 700+ physician, multi-specialty organization. AdventHealth Medical Group offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package that includes occurrence-based malpractice coverage, health insurance for the physician and his/her family, relocation expenses, paid leave days, a generous 403b retirement plan, CME days and a CME allowance. This practice management experience provides the opportunity for the physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine. Hospital Description
Continuous growth has been a recurrent theme in AdventHealth Heart of Florida and AdventHealth Lake Wales. AdventHealth Heart of Florida is a 193 bed acute care facility offering a full spectrum of medical services supporting over 200 physicians representing various medical specialties. AdventHealth Lake Wales is a 160 bed acute care facility offering a full spectrum of medical services as well as behavioral health services.
