Work Hours/Shift:
* Full-Time, Monday Friday
You Will Be Responsible For:
* Creates strategies to develop relationships and processes to continuously improve attraction and retention of individuals receiving education from AdventHealths Academic channels (AHU, CE, Trainings, etc.).
* Manages key relationships with external universities, colleges, technical schools and HCBUs, and associations. Serves as the point of contact and representative of AdventHealth in these relationships.
* Builds and proposes new programs and partnerships with academic entities outside of AdventHealth to address long term talent gaps and objectives.
* Establishes plans for the development and growth of COEs academic strategy including ROI, SWOT, and long-term goals.
* Tracks and monitors the effectiveness of strategies throughout their implementation and proposes adjustments throughout the duration of each lifecycle.
* Works diligently to seek new and forward-thinking opportunities to improve the alignment of external department/team objectives with the objectives of Talent Strategy.
* Assists team members in achieving business results.
* Establishes contact with forums, associations and vendors for AdventHealth to partner with to further the departments defined Academic Strategy.
* Acts as a local consultant and liaison with Shared Services and Talent Management on academic strategies and efforts.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
* Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, communications, human resources or related field required
* 5 years of experience doing strategy, recruiting, marketing, planning, business or related field.
* Health care experience required.
* Strong understanding of process/program development and planning.
* Knowledge of healthcare and clinical best practices.
* Ability to research and present information.
* Strong understanding of digital principles and practices.
Job Summary:
Partners and manages relationships with AdventHealth University, internal nurse educators, CE/learning teams and clinical development teams to finetune and further develop the strategy for long term organizational talent needs. Works to understand and identify parallel objectives of internal education and academic functions; works to build strategies to advance Talent Strategy objectives through relationships with external teams. Builds and expands relationships with external universities, colleges, technical schools and associations with the purpose of building strategies to address long term talent gaps identified by AdventHealth and COE Talent Strategy. Identifies, designs, and proposes new programs and business plans to address long term Talent gaps. Navigates and partners with entity leaders and representatives within the system during the creation of new programs and strategies, ensuring with broad support and buy-in. Maintains strong relationships with local recruiters, colleges, associations, and vendors. Serves as a resource and provides consultation to external teams that play key roles in the success of strategic recruitment plans. Conducts market research to establish strategic plans using analytics platforms, EMSI, CEB, Bersin and other databases.
