We are looking for an Internal digital portfolio leader to work with our expert Digital Solutions team of 36 employees across the world and with IT and Supply Chain leadership team to develop and execute digital strategy to realize the companys digital manufacturing visions of Industrial 4.0. This position will drive the digital manufacturing Industrial 4.0 road map and the overall development and implementation in partnership with business leaders. What youll do
* Refine strategy, road map, and key metrics for the digital manufacturing industrial 4.0 programs as well as lead executions on implementation
* Partner with Supply Chain, IT, Digital, and other organizational teams to provide technical leadership in identifying, evaluation, selection, adoption, building and management of digital manufacturing industrial 4.0 platform components such as MES, IIoT, cloud computing, advanced analytics tools and etc.
* Work with the Digital, IT, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to understand customer requirements and create solutions to meet their needs as well as drive consistency, interoperability and scale across other digital and related programs.
* Drive technology reuse, scalability and efficiency by leveraging and/or leading development of appropriate platform components and frameworks.
* Understand non-functional requirements such as performance and scalability, regulatory and security. Ensure that they are addressed in the digital manufacturing industrial 4.0 programs.
* Create a knowledge base of current vs. future state for the digital manufacturing industrial 4.0 and ensure that the implementation teams have the necessary resources and expertise to grow the digital manufacturing industrial 4.0 strategy across the organization as well as potential customers.
* Be hands-on and work directly with development and deployment teams where needed.
* Connect execution teams with subject matter experts to provide domain knowledge where needed.
* Develop extensive life science domain knowledge that you will use to interact with our business partners and customers
Who you are
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
* A minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in building enterprise applications and solutions in manufacturing context, or a master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience with professional consulting service companies in the area of digital transformation and industry 4.0 programs is desired.
* Experienced with enterprise manufacturing solutions such as Oracle ERP, MES, Historian, LIMS, etc. Experience with Biopharma supply chain manufacturing is preferred.
* Experienced and knowledgeable with Danaher Business system (DBS) - preferred.
* Knowledgeable of AWS or Azure cloud and IoT solutions
* Knowledgeable of Project Management and/or Program Management -PMP certification an asset.
* Experienced with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB. Experienced with distributed systems, microservices, RESTful services, serverless technologies.
* Understanding of security threats and secure development practices such as data encryption and least privilege access controls
* Able to develop a detailed understanding of issues and present clear rationale for design decisions.
* Demonstrated ability to break down problems, architect solutions and estimate efforts and explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
