ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Identify unmet customer needs and new product/market opportunities in molecular diagnostics by utilizing structured VOC processes
* Lead strategic planning and execution for Oncology diagnostics products, from pre-concept to post-launch
* Take a user-centric and data-driven approach to solving customer problems
* Drive the development of new product concepts in close cooperation with new product development (NPD) core teams and other internal stakeholders
* Think critically about product and service solutions and engage the development team in tough conversations about prioritization and tradeoffs
* Manage through challenges that arise in product development timelines, technical risks, vendors, and shifting regulatory requirements with professionalism and a positive attitude
* Represent Marketing in NPD core teams and product lifecycle management (PLM) core teams
* Coordinate PLM activities post-launch (e.g., cost reduction, sustaining efforts, EOL programs)
* Support regional and local marketing organizations with growth initiatives, product launches, training, and commercial excellence initiatives
* Participate in key conferences and meetings

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education or Experience:
* Bachelors degree in field with 5+ years of related work experience OR Masters degree in field with 3+ years of related work experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience
* Minimum 3 years experience in Product Management, Marketing, and/or Oncology, Medical or Diagnostic industries
* Experience working within the molecular IVD market and strong knowledge of current market products and competition is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
* Prior product launch experience is essential
* Understanding of clinical diagnostic products and markets
* Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with various internal constituents, customers and other stakeholders
* Excellent presentation skills
* Technical knowledge and versatility to multi-task across a broad number of products and disease states
* Demonstrated experience working with financial models and building NPV-based cost justifications
* Experience working directly with key opinion leaders and conducting voice-of-customer research
Other:
* >25% travel, including international travel as required (China, South East Asia, India, Africa, LATAM, EU)
