This position will be part of the Intermountain Division Office in the Communications Department. As the Digital Media Communication Coordinator, you will be an integral member of the team by creating and managing digital and social content that supports company initiatives and branding, as well as customer and associate engagement.

You Will:

* Support, maintain, measure, and evaluate all digital and social media content in collaboration with the Marketing team to align in messaging and branding.
* Create and edit internal digital content for broadcasts and meetings.
* Work as a team with cross-functional departments to understand digital media needs.
* Collaborate and generate new ideas on how to increase engagement with targeted audiences.
* Research and understand future trends in social and digital technologies to remain proactive in the industry.
* Track data on reach, impressions and engagement for all social posts.

You Will Have:

* Bachelor's degree in Business related field preferred.
* Experience with computer software to include all Microsoft Office apps.
* Familiarity with online digital and social media platforms.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Effective problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and organization.
* Ability to be a self-starter and manage productivity.
* Experience with function, creation, and interaction on media platforms.
* Understanding of various media formats, to include video, audio, and image.
* Proven experience with media and technology to include video equipment, production and editing.

In 1939, Joe Albertson, a former Safeway district manager, took $5,000 he saved and $7,500 he borrowed from his wife’s Aunt Bertie, and partnered with L.S. Skaggs to open his first Albertsons store on 16th and State Streets in Boise, Idaho. Joe knew the keys of running a really great store, and it was all about working hard for the customers: give them the products they want, at a fair price, with lots of tender, loving care. Joe was innovative, too. He had one of the first in-store magazine racks in the country along with a scratch bakery and fresh ice cream made in-store. He worked hard, seven days a week, on his vision to build his company, and through his inspiring work ethic and tireless
determination to run the best store, the first store thrived. Just two years later, he had opened two other stores in neighboring communities and grew the fledgling company’s sales to over $1 million by the end of 1941.
