As the Senior Manager, Global Information Systems Architect for the North America Digital Platform your role is to act under minimal direction, performing activities including hands on solution design & review, technical product management & ownership for the Adobe WCMS, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Hybris Commerce.



This role is in the Global Information Systems Ecommerce & Marketing team and will mainly support Whirlpool North America (US, Canada, Mexico), but you will also be expected to collaborate and coordinate with groups across the globe.

Scope of Responsibilities:

* Author, drive and maintain the technical strategy / roadmap for the SAP Hybris, Adobe Sites Web Content Management System (WCMS), Adobe Marketing Cloud and solutions and platforms

* Accountable for the overall technical health of the full stack of the NAR Ecommerce & Marketing Platform

* Accountable for the governance and oversight for the maintenance, upkeep, and publishing of platform technical designs, functional designs

* Technical Product owner for the platform and facilitate System Optimization, Performance and foundational backlog items for the SAP Hybris, Adobe Sites Web Content Management System (WCMS), Adobe Marketing Cloud and DevOps applications, solutions and platforms

* Accountable for the technical oversight for the security related aspects of the system, infrastructure and overall platform design

* Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed IT solutions

* Creation, revision of Solution designs, peer review of the following, but not limited to solution designs, functional designs, interface documentation

* Actively lead technical design discussions and strategies related, but not limited to the Digital Platform: Front end design, Backend calls, Data structures, Integrations, Emerging Technologies, and Security

* Lean in and lead with thought leadership, mentoring and coaching for the internal and external technical leads / architects

* Actively participate in the DevOps execution of platform setup & operations, enhancements and project deliverables

* Accountable for ensuring that developers and delivery partners deliver & maintain high quality code and adhere to Whirlpool & industry coding standards, software, infrastructure and industry best practices

* Work in tandem with our development, testing and operations team to raise awareness for process, tool and best practices for Continuous Delivery pipeline and implementation.

Minimum Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree

* 10+ years of progressive information technology experience directly related to Martech, Ecommerce or other specialized technology fields

* 5+ years of development experience with Ecommerce & Marketing solutions

* Experience working in Agile project management methodology

* Experience developing technical Strategy & Roadmaps

* Experience leading technical design sessions

* Experience evaluating technical solutions / issues and determine root cause, while effectively documenting & communicating tradeoffs & key decision points

* Experience with source control and change control practices

* Experience interacting with business and technical teams to develop requirements & designs

* Experience interacting and coordinating with vendors including offshore model project execution

Preferred Requirements:

* 5+ years of development experience with Adobe Sites Web Content Management System (WCMS) v6.3+, that leverages the feature set of Adobe Consulting Services (ACS) Commons, Adobe Digital Asset Management (DAM), Adobe Dynamic Media, Responsive Grid, Editable Templates and is deployed in complex, multi-tiered environments

* 5+ years of development experience with SAP Commerce / Hybris v1905+ web applications that leverage an integration to an SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP) deployed in complex, multi-tiered environments

* Previous experience and accountability writing & maintaining technical designs, functional designs for templates, components, interfaces and Front End Design (FED) and integration documentation via Open Service Gateway Initiative (OSGi), Adobe Input/Output ( I/O), Adobe and Cloud Connections

* Experience architecting JEE based applications using Spring/Open Service Gateway Initiative (OSGi), Hibernate, JMS, REST, SOA, ESB and SSO technologies and extensive implementation

* Experience/familiarity with actively adapting the Adobe Maven build process to Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) process and technology such as Jenkins

* Additional hands on solution design, implementation, and / or system administration experience with one or more of the following Adobe WCMS, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analytics, Swagger Interface Specification, Splunk, Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud

* Experience with privacy policies like Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) & California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) in North America

* Experience utilizing Akamai CDN and related technical toolsets

* Experience developing and operating in distributed cloud environments

* Knowledge of Software Design Patterns & multi-threaded Asynchronous Programming Models

* Strong written and oral communication skills

* Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

* Strong critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions
