Opportunity:
As Sales Intern, you are responsible for completing sales-related projects/assignments. You will gain hands-on experience in WestRocks sales environment learning how we go to market. By the end of your assignment, our mission is to have positively impacted your curriculum and career goals in preparation for life after college.
How you will impact WestRock
Analyze data sets to identify key potential new market segments and customers
Create lead lists for the Sales Team and track progress through sales funnel
Make outbound calls/emails to potential customers to collect market data
Manage a Marketing data set and/or CRM tool to refine and track opportunities
Create customer-facing presentations to highlight WestRocks value
Research prospects/customers to find buyers/influencers and actionable market intelligence
What you need to succeed:
Currently enrolled in a college/university
Be a critical thinker with the ability to think and convey abstract ideas/concepts
Display a desire to learn through intellectual curiosity
Integrity and commitment to high ethical standards
Strong interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to organize and prioritize workload
Drive and initiative to go above and beyond to achieve goals while collaborating in a team environment
Interest in a Sales/Marketing role with a manufacturing-oriented business
