Midwest Center for Youth & Families offers specialized residential treatment for children and adolescents with complex mental illnesses. We serve males 12-18 and females 10-18. We work hard to continually improve our treatment and program outcomes for youth and families.

Qualifications
Our Behavioral Health Workers are mental health employees who provide hands-on care to individuals with varying degrees of mental illnesses. Our Behavioral Health Workers perform a vital, front-line function as they observe, treat and interact with patients. This position serves as the eyes, ears and hands of the diagnosing professionals. They report on how the treatment is working or any unusual symptoms that need professional attention.
We are looking for individuals with excellent observation skills; The ability to work well with people; a stable personality and true motivation to help others; Ethical Conduct; Thoroughness; Flexibility; Personal Effectiveness/Credibility; Stress Management/Composure; Teamwork Orientation; Compassion; Creating a Safe, Effective Environment; Good Judgment.
Behavioral Health Worker Job Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED is required.
* Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-18yrs.
* Must be 21 years old
