Summary:

We are searching for a Social Media Manager -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will plan, develop, and lead a team to execute a social media strategy across the organization to drive brand affinity, community engagement, acquisition and retention and donations.

Responsibilities :

* Develops innovative, strategic plans for leveraging social media to encourage content consumption, build brand awareness, drive traffic to the organizations web sites, and foster successful online conversations with patients and their families
* Manages existing and future social media channels and develops and executes plans for on-going refreshment and improvement of content, experience, and functionality for all areas of the system
* Helps identify and manage online agencies, contractors, and vendors
* Provides leadership and management oversight to social media team, including ongoing mentoring, coaching and development, ensuing that roles and responsibilities are well defined and structured to ensure the teams overall success
* Consistently monitors competitor and other leading brands to look for new and fresh ideas to bring to Texas Childrens social media channels
* Partners with IS department to ensure technical requirements and project timelines are met
* Strives to achieve the goal of accreditation by ensuring JCAHO requirements specific to department are fulfilled and demonstrates an understanding of the linkage between departments requirements and those of the integrated delivery system
* Develops, implements, and manages annual social media budget

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Business, or related field required
* 5 years experience in content/social strategy required
* Digital agency experience preferred
* B2B and B2C marketing experience preferred
* Fluent in Spanish preferred
