Reporting into the Digital Merchandising Manager, the Digital Merchandising Analyst will partner with various cross-functional teams to drive our merchandising strategy including visual merchandising strategies & digital assortment analysis and recommendations. The Merchandising Analyst should be experienced in reviewing assortment performance and making recommendations based on their findings to drive the business forward. Our ideal candidate has a web-first mindset and has a proven track record of maximizing digital shelf space. This role will need to have a full understanding of omnichannel and pure players- key retailers and customers such as commercialized brands, key SBUs/categories, and strategies tied to business growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Partner with cross functional teams to identify key digital levers and craft online merchandising plan
* Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure all consumer touch points and messaging are consistent with our visual merchandising vision
* Examine planned assortment and adjust our approach to most effectively sell our products across channels and maximize our digital shelf
* Work with cross functional partners to identify opportunities to drive qualified traffic to upsell/cross-sell promotions and oversee end-to-end strategy
* Analyze weekly SKU level business performance across multiple wholesale customers and make recommendations on assortment, visual merchandising, pricing and promotional activity
* Collaborate with the demand planning team on effective assortment of online SKUs
Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, or related field
* 3+ years experience online merchandising and/or Product experience; experience in Buying or Planning a plus
* Strong Analytical skills, ability to take in large amounts of data and draw conclusions
* Be extremely organized and detail-oriented; process focused
* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
* Experience driving strategy to effectively upsell and cross-sell across online channels
* Should have a web-first mindset
* Solid experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Understanding of the retail eCommerce landscape
* Experience working in a matrixed environment
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
