Job Purpose:

The Contract Manager ensures compliance to all Federal Government contractual regulations and audit requirements. The Compliance Manager serves as the principal advisor to the Contract organization regarding the legal and contractual compliance aspects of customer documents as well as overseeing the execution of customer audit procedures. This position will require a candidate who can positively influence team members in order to drive a high level of compliance for company-wide contract obligations.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

* Conduct risk assessments of FAR/DFAR flow-downs in a FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 environment.
* Provide solid analysis and interpretation of terms and conditions, and other contract documents such as Non Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements
* Identify and mitigate risks connected with non-standard conditions proposed in contractual documents
* Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures applicable to contracting and contract management
* Serve as a point of contact for resolving and escalation of complex and non-routine contract terms
* Responsible for correspondence with the customer regarding all contractual issues, and resolving open issues

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor Degree
* 5+ years experience in the field of federal government contract management
* Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
* Solid understanding of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 contracting actions
