Salesforces Global Safety & Security (GS&S) team is looking for a Sr. Project Coordinator to coordinate content, process development, and projects from intake to completion. This role will work closely with various program leads within the GS&S organization to support key business priorities.
The ideal candidate will proactively demonstrate critical thinking and multi-tasking abilities, while thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that relies on high communication skills to form collaborative relationships with team members. You think creatively and possess the ability to juggle multiple projects at once, while maintaining project management best practices and communicating up and down management chains.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Support the planning and implementation of strategic cross-functional initiatives, while managing day-to-day execution. Hold meetings and track milestones to ensure deliverables are met; manage and escalate risks and issues with a solution-oriented mindset; report status and present program updates. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are completed and delivered on schedule.
Employee Engagement: Collaborate with GS&S program leads to develop engaging communications that drive awareness of our organization, ensure compliance with our training, and inspire employees to take action.
Continuous Improvement: Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to track and evaluate feedback and apply key learnings and consistently improve the program. Think critically and strategically to develop process improvements, best practices, and tools that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our team; learn from past experiences and adjust your go-forward strategy.
Required Skills/Experience:
* Experience in planning and implementation of cross-functional business efforts. Ability to work well under deadlines and juggle multiple priorities. Strong meeting management skills.
* Strong critical thinking skills. Experience applying various methodologies or practices to assess processes, business issues and people. Ability to extract key messages from detail and translate into actionable deliverables.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including sound judgement about when, how, what, and to whom to communicate. Inform, education and inspire employees.
* Ability to quickly establish and build close working relationships with team members of varying backgrounds and positions within an organization.
* Comfort with ambiguity and motivated to solve complex problems.
* Ability to analyze poorly defined areas and processes within a cross-functional organization and implement new and improved processes.
Other Skills/Requirements:
* Strong presentation and meeting management skills
* Ability to quickly ramp on collaboration technologies (Slack, Google, SmartSheet, Quip, Tableau)
* Salesforce organization and product knowledge is a plus
Basic Qualifications:
* 2-4 years project coordination experience
* Experience coordinating projects end to end with various cross-functional stakeholder groups
* Experience managing to project plans, timelines, and schedules
* Ability to organize and prioritize tasks from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Salesforce Platform
