Job Description

This role is specifically focused on the community banking and credit union space covering both B2C and B2B The ideal candidate brings at least ten to fifteen year experience in a community bank or upper end credit union firm and understands the complex macro, operating and market environments firms operate within. Based on this knowledge and with their pulse on the industry, the role is the nucleus of our strategy in these segments. The role will own the strategy, define the business plan and execute the plan across a variety of stakeholders. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable presenting and engaging at the C-Suite level while at the same time rolling up their sleeves and getting into the details of the market, solutions and how value is realized through deployments and usage. The role will act in defining true north for the segment and be the voice of the industry across a variety of internal and external events. The candidate is both a deep SME and a strong strategist who inspires confidence, credibility and can articulate a vision and realizable execution of how the Salesforce platform can solve a variety of strategic and tactical needs across the lending customer lifecycle.

Key Accountabilities

* Act as THE industry SME and Thought Leader for Salesforce in this space.

* Analyze and create the segment specific business plan and strategy for the Community Bank and Credit Union segment leveraging existing Salesforce methods and templates. Own the Plan and manage its execution and ongoing tracking and accountability.

* Maintain the pulse of the sector performance as it relates to growth, revenue, customer success and product value and establish trusted relationships with sales, customers and partners to ensure ongoing connectivity to the market and our performance

* Collaborate across a variety of internal teams and external partners to lead the execution of the plan, related solutions and go-to-market activities and programs

* Represent the segment in a variety of enablement, marketing, customer and partner events that elevate Salesforce position in the market and inspire participants with the vision of the sector powered by Salesforce

* Align to key strategic accounts and opportunities and support customer engagements as necessary across key stages of the customer lifecycle

Skills, Requirements, Experience

* Minimum 10-15 years experience in any of (or combination thereof)

* A mid size community bank or large credit union in a variety of roles ranging from solutions to technology to senior management responsible for strategy, operations and strategic programs.

* Leading software solutions firm in the community banking space at an enterprise class organization.

* Solutions Integrator or Management Consulting firm overseeing either strategy, customer programs or industry solutions.

* Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance needs

* Understanding of software architecture, components and concepts

* Strong understanding of the technology landscape, tools, platforms and vendors required across all elements of the banking life cycle.

* Excellent business plan analysis and creation skills

* Ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into simple, yet powerful content

* Powerful presentation skills at all levels of an organization (C-Suite to Users)

* Comfortable presenting in large forums

* Understanding of software lifecycle and the complexities of enterprise software sales

* Ability to operate in a fast paced, matrixed environment, juggling multiple priorities and stakeholders

* Familiarity with the Salesforce platform, ecosystem and value proposition.
