Position Overview:
Supply Chain at Raytheon Missiles and Defense is a world class organization that has core contributing roles and responsibilities from product development through product delivery. There are several major and distinct disciplines that make up the Supply Chain organization: Material Strategies, Planning and Production Control, Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Affordability. Supply Chain Management interns will support and contribute in one of these areas.
The Material Program Management Team is seeking a full-time summer intern to support the MPM team. An MPM at Raytheon develops and executes material program plans, subcontract plans and plans to meet program objectives and mitigation plans. In this role, the intern will be required to frequently interface with Engineering, Quality and Operations as well as buyers and subcontracts teams to ensure support of program and factory requirements. A successful candidate will be disciplined in attention to detail, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and an aptitude for building relationships.

Required Skills:


* Skills with MS Office applications (I.e. Excel, Word)
* Must be a junior or higher and actively pursuing a Degree in one of the following areas: Business, Finance, Operations Management, Program Management, Supply Chain or a closely related field
* US Citizenship is required (access to systems/tools may be restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship)

Working Environments:
This position is intended to be on-site in Tucson, AZ but has the ability to be performed remotely if COVID-19 prevents it for Summer 2021.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
