The Intelligent Conversation and Communications Cloud (IC3) powers billions of real-time customer conversations in products across the Microsoft ecosystem (including Skype, Teams, and Dynamics) and third-party apps and experiences through Azure Communication Services. Our services are the foundation for reliable and high-quality audio/video calls, meetings, and messaging on desktop, mobile, web, and embedded endpoints. Responsibilities

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate aboutu202Feradicating ambiguity while designing and delivering delightful products for our customers.u202FAs a program manager in our team, you'll be responsible for defining the vision, designing the technical solution, and delivering products that will increase the quality and efficiency of the work of hundreds of software engineers globally. For a given requirement, you will be expected to meet with customers to understand their needs, design the feature, review within the team, develop an execution plan, get commitments from stakeholders, and drive delivery towards that plan.u202FIn short, you will truly own your product and features from start to finish.u202FAs a leader, you will also be responsible for keeping the rest of the team and leadership abreast of progress and roadblocks, looking around corners, and thinking long term.

This position will assume the task of creating the next generation platform, enabling hundreds of micro-services to measure, monitor, authenticate, authorize, experiment, configure, deploy, manage secrets, and operate in a consistent fashion. One goal for this role will be to reduce the overhead of maintaining and managing hundreds of dependencies across as many code bases. Doing so will help the organization become more efficient and adaptive to change as we work to continually evolve the platform on which we build services. The primary outputs for this role will be tooling and automation that drastically reduce the time required to deliver Teams and IC3 in every new cloud we build.

Qualifications

Core Skills

* Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with experience and passion for engineering systems.
* Experience with continuous integration and delivery of software that powers cloud-scale services.
* Proven ability to develop product strategy and roadmap, and drive project execution.
* History of clearly articulating project status, blockers, and outstanding actions to all stakeholders, including senior management.
* Experience with customer-driven engineering, translating developer needs into requirements and design.
* Demonstrated success in creating an environment that fosters delivering results through collaboration in cross-organization projects with sense of personal ownership and accountability.
* Adept at navigating ambiguous problem-spaces and leading your team to successful product launches.
* History of defining necessary data to efficiently make data-driven decisions.

* 8+ years of progressively expanding responsibilities in program and/or product management roles in software companies.
* Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
