Manage the implementation and communication of the Companys broad-based compensation strategy, plans, policies and programs to ensure alignment with overall business strategy and external peers.

Primary Responsibilities

Compensation Programs

* Participate in the design of our Companys global salary structures
* Lead the continued development, roll out and maintenance of job and salary structures
* Provide consultative support to regional Compensations teams on how to apply salary structures to local markets based on availability and reliability of country specific market data
* Proactively monitor trends and regulatory developments in the pharmaceutical and general industry that impact the Company's broad-based compensation programs
* Partner with HR Operations to understand Workday capabilities to ensure future compensation program designs can be implemented and maintained effectively
* Partner with Global Talent Acquisition to ensure recruiters have the necessary information and tools to review and extend offers to candidates
* Provide review and oversight of global salary increase budgets, coordinating with local Compensation teams
* Review and provide recommendations on global compensation program and policy changes, including terms & conditions, aligning with contemporary market practices
* Overtime, this role may provide consultation to various support functions relative to compensation-related policies, programs, processes and issues, driving timely, thoughtful and prudent solutions

Compensation Benchmarking and Competitive Analysis

* Oversee the annual benchmarking process for all employees, including executives, and the development and ongoing maintenance of salary structures, ensuring alignment with Company pay philosophy and balanced with external market competitiveness
* Manage the compensation benchmarking tool, ensuring effective utilization by the regional Compensation teams
* Review new and emerging compensation technology solutions to aid in compensation analysis and design
* Lead competitive analysis projects determining the strategy for gathering and synthesizing market and internal data, creating dynamic models to assess the impact of design decisions and developing persuasive presentations to influence key stakeholders

* Support special projects including due diligence and M&A support

Education

* Bachelor's degree

Required

* Minimum 8 years work experience in HR, compensation, finance, accounting or consulting (with a masters degree, 4 years relevant compensation experience required).
* Ability to collaborate in a global matrixed organization
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to understand the business
* Strong project management, results orientation and ability to balance tactical and strategic responsibilities
* Strong written and oral communication skills
