A top CT priority is purpose-building scalable corporate systems. Controls & Operational Risk Technology supports - identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks followed by coordinated application of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of events.

Teams focus is on:

* Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firms regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitments
* Advancing the firms Roadmap programs -- Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Application Portfolio and Platforms
* Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions
* Driving innovation across the firms corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles
* Investing in security & controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resiliency

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
* Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
* Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
* Passionate about building an innovative culture
* Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages: Java
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
* Must have 5-7 years of experience working with UI and Java technologies.
* Proficient with UI development and Angular framework and hands-on experience with Angular
* Experience with Test Driven Development
* Strong fundamentals in Object Oriented Design and programming in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate and Oracle database.
* Exposure to micro-services pattern and cloud native technologies is a must
* Ability to collaborate and design solutions including conceptual, logical and physical data models
* Strong understanding of web, cloud based & big data design patterns is a must.
* Exposure and good understanding of AWS preferred
* Should be able to set standards and define templates to promote reusability and establish standards.
* Ability to mentor team and collaborate with distributed teams is a must.
* Experience of collaborating with UX designers, product owners and technology teams to develop quick prototypes & adapt to feedback.
