In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

* Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modifications, fabrications, of design circuitry, electromechanical systems, or specialized test equipment
* Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in research work
* May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
* Assignments are semiroutine in nature
* Work performed within generally defined parameters
* Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems
* Normally receives general instructions on most work

In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will also have:

* Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills with the willingness to effectively communicate with peers, engineering, and customers
* Willingness to work in confined spaces for extended periods of time
* Willingness to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities
* Candidate must be flexible to work day, night or weekend shifts as business need
* Good problem-solving skills
* Excellent computer skills
* Candidate must be flexible and capable of handling multi-task operations

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate can possess an Associate Degree in an engineering or a science discipline, military experience or a technical certification.

2+ years of experience in:

* Experience in operating HDMT, CMT testers, HDMX, Sixshot, Auto Rob, OLB handlers, ICDC tool, etc.
* Experience in electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair and operation of CPU testing/handling tools
* Experience with the use of electrical and/or mechanical measuring devices such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, calipers/micrometers
* Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and system repair manuals
* Ability to work on and repair mechanical / electrical equipment systems
* Ability to lift 35lbs, climb ladders
* Computer literacy and basic math skills

This is a Shift 2 position: 3pm-11pm Sunday-Thursday (subject to change).
