Job Description
As part of the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) within Intels Data Platform Group, the Custom Structured Asic Engineering Team (CSAE) plays a key role in SoC Architecture. We are responsible for leading definition of the Arm based SoC in the FPGA/SoC and Structured ASIC/SoC product lines.
As an ARM Based SoC Architect you will have the opportunity to determine, specify, and evaluate the viability of complex hardware features and structures, and ensure that software/hardware designs interface correctly. You will design framework for particular functions, and you will get to define, document, and test processes for inclusion into technical platforms, subsystem specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility. Additionally, you will conduct architecture level modeling to identify, analyze and resolve subsystem and/or SoC design weaknesses. You will influence the shaping of future products by significantly contributing to the architecture used across design families and provide multilayered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
* 8+ Years of Design/Architecture Experience
* Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with ARM Application Processors A9, A53, A55, A76 and Armv8.2-A architecture
* Experience with cache coherent systems and coherent interconnects
* Experience with AMBA bus protocols including ACE or CHI
* Experience with MMU and System Level MMU
* Experience with Industrial TSN
* Experience with Flash: SDMMC, OSPI, QSPI, NAND
* Experience with DDR4, LPDDR4, DDR5, LPDDR5
* Experience with USB 3.x
* Experience with performance and power modeling
