Insight, a Fortune 500 IT Solutions Partner is seeking Desktop Support Specialists to work on-site with our client in Chicago! This is a 9+ month W2 contract with the possibility of extension and/or long-term hire. We are seeking talent to start ASAP!

What youll do at Insight:

Break/Fix and Maintenance/PC Refresh
Perform diagnostics and resolution on Tier-1 hardware and software that supports the end-user environment (desktops and laptops)
Identify components requiring repair/replacement and order through Insights parts system
Perform hardware repair according to manufacturers specifications
Reload Clients standard image (provided by Client)
Identify network connectivity issues and escalate, as appropriate, to Client contact(s)
Perform printer repair and maintenance services on a best-effort basis
Obtain end-user sign-off that work is complete on the Insight/Client work order
Provide priority response to an identified subset of Client users
Facilitate delivery, installation, and setup of repaired/replaced unit at the end-users desk
Obtain end-user sign-off that work is complete on the work order
Perform repair services and image reloads as above on down units and return to spare inventory or original users desk
Log asset activity on units repaired/replaced in the Client database
Perform asset tagging or image upgrade services upon Client contacts direction on a non-priority basis

What youll need to join Insight:
Minimum 3+ years of desktop/laptop support experience in a large enterprise environment
PC Refresh Experience
Ticket tracking
Hardware and software installation
Strong organization and time management skills
