We are seeking someone who will work closely with our Platform Center of Excellence team who brings the right experience designing & verifying FPGA/ASICs for Electronic Solutions within Honeywell Aerospace.
Help us create the worlds most advanced systems with your embedded processing and computer architecture skills for our global space-based electronics for human based or satellite systems, sensors and navigation systems for missiles and interceptors, and a range of aviation safety, cockpit, engine control, and connectivity products and services.
In this visible, technical role, you will design, verify, integrate and test the FPGA/ASIC solutions that enable Aerospaces products. You will be responsible for coding, running simulations, synthesis, creating test benches, and preparation of documentation. You will work closely with world class hardware and software engineers during planning, requirements and architecture, design, test and integration phases. You will inspire your team to collaborate across Honeywell Aerospace engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our Aerospace market. You will be the conduit that partners with and influences the trusted experts that create the lowest cost, fastest and most reliable electronics in Aerospace.

Key Responsibilities
* Write Requirements from system and hardware level documents.
* Create digital designs and code them with HDL languages such as VHDL and System Verilog.
* Design and create testbenches to verify digital systems.
* Prepare technical documentation.
YOU MUST HAVE
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
* To conform to U.S. Government technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
WE VALUE
* Good VHDL or Verilog/System Verilog working knowledge
* Good Object-Oriented Programming and software knowledge
* Experience in ASIC/FPGA development and verification
* Knowledge of design tools: simulators, STA tools, synthesis, etc.
* Knowledge of OS Linux, scripting languages Perl, Shell, TCL
* Good communication skills (verbal and written)
* Strong computer and web navigation skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer)
* Self-starter, motivated and takes initiative and able to work independently
* Strong technical problem-solving skills
