General Responsibilities
The Pool Fleet Manager manages fleet operations within a Pool to ensure maximum performance through disciplined execution of fleet objectives. They are responsible for collaborating with all necessary parties on the daily fleet availability/movement within the Pool across all brands and maintaining transparency of information critical to daily fleet decisions to the organization. They will ensure tactical decisions meet the objectives of the strategic goals of the Zone and Pool.
Collaborate with Zone Fleet Logistic Director to execute tactical strategies to maximize ROI of fleet assets. Variables to consider are: maximizing revenue and fleet utilization across all brands and products (rates and car classes), capitalizing on remarketing opportunities, competitive availability and market share position, customer service (NPS) and location operating capacity/limitations.
Pool Fleet Manager will also work closely with licensees to execute fleet objectives and maximize ROI of fleet assets.
People Development:
Responsible for building, managing and developing talent effectively within the Organization in order to foster a high performing culture and holds direct reports accountable for the effective management of the fleet.
All necessary manpower planning needed to achieve fleet plan, utilization and out of service goals.
Add/Delete Objectives:
Responsible for execution of the monthly fleet plan, and directing local teams to ensure the correct cars are pulled for deletion. Interact with Remarketing organization to maximize opportunity within all Car Sales channels.
Work closely with the Zone Fleet Logistics Director to expedite car sales transfers by managing the Wholesale hold process and communicating the timing of add/delete cadence and fleet activities to local Operations
Utilization and Out of Service:
Responsible for driving utilization across the Pool by collaborating with Operations and Maintenance to minimize total Out of Service level.
Oversee all functions related to Car Control, Out of Service and Non-Revenue management within their Pool.
Turnbacks:
Coordinate and oversee prep and processing of Turnback units throughout the Pool to minimize expense and downtime (e.g., days to Turnback).
Registration:
Optimize new car installation and renewal processes to minimize downtime and registration expenses
Transportation:
Coordinate movement of vehicles into and out of the pool via trucking, as directed by Fleet department.
Responsible for management of all inter-location fleet movement to minimize transport cost and maximize revenue, taking into consideration new car deliveries/diversions to minimize unnecessary fleet moves
The salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000.

Essential Requirements
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree with extensive experience in the car rental industry.
Professional Experience:
Prior management experience in the car rental industry preferred. Particularly with regards to fleet management, utilization and car control.
