Job Title: Sales Support Representative

Location: Richmond, VA

What were looking for:

The Account Representative plays a key role within our sales department. This position is a hands-on role which involves all areas of the sales process, from bid to order, and through production to final shipping. This position is one that understands the importance of making the sales process run smoothly and effectively.

What youll be responsible for in this role:

* Responsible for receiving and entering sales orders from outside sales, sending out sales acknowledgments to sales team to review, and coordinating all orders to ensure complete accuracy.
* Works internally with Operations to answer questions in regards to manufacturing of Hillphoenix products and possess knowledge of order entry system and quotation software.
* Responsible for product and process knowledge to support execution of all duties, including industry standards and trends as it relates to merchandising strategies with some supervisory support and oversight.
* Provides outside sales with information including production scheduling and updates on customer change requests. Acts as a liaison between customers/outside sales and the internal departments to facilitate sales and accurate order fulfillment.
* Analyzes and resolves common and/or routine inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Responsible for reviewing customer requirements from store layouts, prints and specifications.
* Other duties as assigned.

What are the basic qualifications?

* Bachelors Degree with 3+ years relevant experience or High School Diploma with 7 years relevant work experience
* Must be able to work in the US without company sponsorship

What are the preferred qualifications?

* Bachelors Degree preferred
* 3+ years of manufacturing customer service preferred

* High degree of project management, process management, and process improvement capabilities, including analytical skills to support action planning and decision making.
* Excellent facilitation/ coaching skills; strong employee relations skills with the proven ability to: drive and influence change, manage conflict, and foster an environment of positive employee relations at all levels of the organization.
* Strong professional presence and high ethical standards of conduct; ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.
* Good reasoning abilities, resourceful, and well organized.
* Work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
* Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite products.
