Caution against fraudulent job offers!

We have been informed of instances where jobseekers are led to believe of fictitious job opportunities with Deloitte US (Deloitte). In one or more such cases, false promises of actual or potential selection, or initiation or completion of the recruitment formalities appear to have been or are being made. Some jobseekers appear to have been asked to pay money to specified bank accounts of individuals or entities as a condition of their selection for a job with Deloitte. These individuals or entities are in no way connected with Deloitte and do not represent or otherwise act on behalf of Deloitte.

We would like to clarify that:

* At Deloitte, ethics and integrity are fundamental and not negotiable.
* We are against corruption and neither offer bribes nor accept them, nor induce or permit any other party to make or receive bribes on our behalf.

Complex Securities Valuation Senior Consultant

The Complex Securities Valuation team, part of Deloitte Advisory, provides services relating to the full life cycle of Valuation, including policy and process assessments, and quantitative solutions to support the valuation of all types of financial instruments including complex derivatives, securities, commodities and other investment products. Valuation service offering also provides advisory services to financial institutions, governmental agencies and finance companies.

Work you will do

* Support Deloitte project teams in providing financial consulting services relating to business Assist in the valuation of intangible assets for regulatory, financial, and tax purposes as a result of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or financial restructuring
* Create/assist in creating financial models, analyzing financial statements, conducting industry research, and writing reports
* Interact with internal clients and communicate with managers
* Assist internal clients on client development and practice development assignments
* Supervise work of junior staff to ensure high quality of work products
* May need to work on other Deloitte Advisory engagements

The team

At Deloitte Advisory, our Business Valuation team provides a focused set of valuation consulting services to clients across a range of industry segments. Specific areas of focus include business and intangible asset valuation. We perform valuation services for derivatives, structured products, energy products and also exchange traded securities. These services are provided to assist clients with mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions; taxation planning and compliance; financial reporting in accordance with 'US GAAP' or 'IFRS' accounting standards; and strategic planning. Qualifications and Experience Required:

* Strong background in mathematical finance at the Master's level - degree in Mathematical Finance, Mathematics of Finance, Financial Engineering or Quantitative Finance, or a related technical
* Understanding of financial instrument valuation concepts is desired and experience with valuation of securities or derivatives is a plus. Applicants are expected to have strong analytical and computer skills. Quantitative analysis technical skills and experience with modeling and valuation tools (Monte-Carlo Simulations, Black Scholes, Options Theory, Bloomberg, and Numerix) are a
* 0-4 years of relevant Complex Securities Valuation experience
* No sponsorship: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
* While 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.

Preferred:

* CFA Level II cleared or appeared
* Ability to explain difficult financial modeling/valuation concepts to diverse client contacts
* Conceptual and quantitative depth in valuation methodologies and concepts and underlying markets and models.
* Master's degreed preferred.
