Caution against fraudulent job offers!
We have been informed of instances where jobseekers are led to believe of fictitious job opportunities with Deloitte US (Deloitte). In one or more such cases, false promises of actual or potential selection, or initiation or completion of the recruitment formalities appear to have been or are being made. Some jobseekers appear to have been asked to pay money to specified bank accounts of individuals or entities as a condition of their selection for a job with Deloitte. These individuals or entities are in no way connected with Deloitte and do not represent or otherwise act on behalf of Deloitte.
We would like to clarify that:
* At Deloitte, ethics and integrity are fundamental and not negotiable.
* We are against corruption and neither offer bribes nor accept them, nor induce or permit any other party to make or receive bribes on our behalf.
* We have not authorized any party or person to collect any money from jobseekers in any form whatsoever for promises of getting jobs in Deloitte.
* We consider candidates only on merit and that we provide an equal opportunity to eligible applicants.

Backbase Frontend Developer
Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS)
Deloitte's Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) practice is always innovating and pushing next gen digital banking capabilities for our clients. We are looking for a Frontend Developer with Backbase experience to deliver solutions internally and on client engagements.
As part of a project team, you build the proof of concept of how the ideal digital banking frontend should look like from the end-customer perspective. Based on your design, the client will decide how its customers will experience their digital banking environment. Then you are able to quickly transform the customer's requirements into a minimum viable product, which looks and functions stunningly. Then you will be involved in handing your MVP to systems-integrators for implementation, where you will continue to engage in order to ensure the best solution is delivered.
Work you'll do
* Take our BaaS product to the next level, adapt to new technology, and push the envelope when implementing modern UI/UX patterns
* Take the lead in the development of software, focusing on functional and non-functional aspects, and are responsible for the end deliverables of your squad
* Provide the best possible user experience, obviously securing cross-browser compatibility.
* Help principals and leads get a perspective on the full picture
* You may work in several teams - from providing input to our research and development squads, to consulting with our customers and implementing projects in our customer success teams
* Contribute the experience gathered on projects to the development of our BaaS platform and the whole product suite
* Develop web applications using a modern, responsive stack and tooling, and work closely with the product owner, developers and QA engineers to shape the product, analyze requirements and ensure our software is high quality
* Ensure our solutions are tested, accessible, extensible, maintainable, secure and are performant
* Get in-depth knowledge on the product wishes and the company within a short amount of time
* Provide guidance to Frontend Engineers, and you collect and refine proposals from the team
* Actively contribute to the BaaS knowledge base by creating and reviewing training materials and/or documentation
Qualifications
Required:
* Expert knowledge and experience with web frameworks - Angular, RxJS
* 3+ years experience and expertise with Typescript, Javascript (ES6), CSS (SASS), Bootstrap and HTML
* 5+ years experience and expertise with web technologies in general.
* Willingness to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice).
Preferred:
* Node JS, Webpack
