Job Description

Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, asphalt, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing. We are hiring for the position of Sr IS & Cybersecurity Engineer located in our Brentwood TN corporate office.

This resource evaluates, tests, recommends, develops, coordinates, monitors and maintains information systems (IS) and cyber security policies, procedures and systems, including access management for hardware, firmware and software | Ensures that IS and cyber security architecture/designs, plans, controls, processes, standards, policies and procedures are aligned with IS standards and overall IS and cyber security | Identifies security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents and improve security | Develops techniques and procedures for conducting IS and cyber security risk assessments and compliance audits, the evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware and software for possible impact on system security, and the investigation and resolution of security incidents | Implements IS and cyber security policies and takes measures against intrusion, frauds, attacks or leaks.

Role & Responsibilities:

-Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organizations data, systems and networks.

-Design and document architectures for security tools and technologies.

-Troubleshooting system and network security problems.

-Responding to all system and network security breaches.

-Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.

-Participating in the change management process.

-Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.

-Daily administrative tasks, reporting and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.

-Act as a liaison to other IT groups/teams to ensure system & network security best practices are being followed throughout the enterprise.

Required Qualifications Education, Skills & Experience:

-A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification.

-Demonstrated functional understanding Windows/Linux operating systems and networks

-Understanding of the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by threat actors.

-4+ years of work experience with incident detection, incident response and forensics.

-4+ years direct experience integrating security tools with existing architectures (Rapid7, Carbon Black, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Palo Alto or other market leader)

-4+ years direct experience with Log Management and Event Correlation or SIEM.

Preferred Qualifications Education, Skills & Experience:

-Experience with Edge Security, Office 365 Security, Azure Security, Endpoint Security and Email security.

-Strong understanding of System Log Files and other structured and non-structured data.

-Demonstrated ability to create complex dashboards, forms, and visualizations.

-Effective verbal and written communication skills that include the ability to describe highly technical concepts in non-technical terms.

-Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, bash, or Python.

-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

-Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.

-Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
