The Experience
In todays dynamic retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Customer Development team at Colgate. Our highly upbeat and focused Oral Care Customer Team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive and for Oral Care in this ever-changing landscape. What role will you play as a member of the Oral Care team?
As Category Development Manager, you'll build and share compelling stories with Customers that provide insight to how shopper behaviors are influencing our categories. You will serve as the category specialist by delivering insight-based engaging category presentations and highlighting opportunities. You will establish a proven customer relationship based on building thought leadership. As the specialist, youll scorecard and supervise the execution of 5Ps to ensure success in all that you do. Utilizing category analysis, shopper insights and other available analytic tools you will apply your expertise to drive solutions for Colgate and our customers.

* You're a storyteller- The ability to interpret and communicate shopper & consumer data and optimally integrate them to tell fact-based stories to drive category solutions is crucial, so we can thrive and win.
* You connect the dots- Initiating and synchronizing our brand strategies and priorities with customer strategies for an outcome where we all win, executing new product initiatives accordingly, and determining the effectiveness of Colgate and competitive promotions through post-analysis, are vital for the recommendations you make to the account.
* You can collaborate- You will build key partnerships as a consultant to the customer that thrive on mutual trust and integrity in working relationships. Additionally you work cross-functionally across the Colgate Palmolive organization.
* You are a leader- You take the lead by influencing the agenda through collaboration, negotiation and thought leadership.
* You are curious- You are constantly looking for opportunities to improve and seek creative solutions. You dig into the reason behind the numbers, are able to look at the results and find out the reasons for what is driving those results and guide the team accordingly.
What You'll Need
* Bachelor's Degree required
* 8+ years of sales or category management experience, or other relevant experience required
* Experience working with a syndicated service (Nielsen, IRI) account required
It's nice to have
* Experience working in consumer product goods preferred
* Microsoft Office or Google Suite proficiency (i.e, Sheets, Slides, Docs) preferred
