Job Description

Shift:

7pm - 7am

2 ON / 2OFF / ALT Weekends

What Quality Control contributes to Cardinal Health

Quality control is responsible for the analysis or inspection of products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards.

* Demonstrates detailed oriented attention in all facets of responsibilities.
* Performs analytical evaluation or test of products or processes.
* Demonstrates knowledge of testing methods, product usage, and applicable regulations and standards.
* Adheres to established policies and procedures.
* Establishes test methodology.
* Provides technical guidance and training to others on SOPs and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

* HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience, preferred
* 1+ years experience in related field, preferred

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS

* Team based environment
* Responsibilities: operate the equipment safely, manufacture products that meet quality requirements in an efficient manner, inspect products at the various stages in the production process, complete required documentation, and perform basic maintenance on equipment in accordance with established standard work and procedures.
* Also expected to participate in other team activities such as improvement initiatives, 6S audits, quality audits, and operational decision making as required of their processes.
* Responsible to visually inspect in-process and finished material
