Why we need you:
In the Scrum Master role, you'll serve as the servant leader for your team(s) by ensuring clear communication and helping the team reach its goal. The Scrum Master will drive the appropriate Agile methodology focused on predictable, quality delivery and driving continuous improvement of the team while keeping a focus on metrics such as lead time, cycle time and velocity including WIP management. The Scrum Master will facilitate team productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes on the team.
What you will do:
* Serve as Scrum Master for multiple teams
* Ensure teams maintain focus on quality and continuous delivery of business value
* Lead ceremonies through agile methodologies following agile principles (Intent refinement, sprint planning, retro, etc.)
* Help teams pro-actively identify impediments and recommend solutions to remove impediments
* Innovate with practices and frameworks through experimentation to improve the team and their delivery
* Coach the team to improve collaboration and self-organization
* Demonstrate ability to balance data with other factors when making decisions
* Utilize team feedback and analyze data (quality, delivery rate, etc) to identify areas of opportunity and improve team efficiency and delivery
* Actively seek and participate in a variety of learning opportunities such as Communities of Practice, conferences, classroom training and independent study to further develop self and community
* Developing ability to act as an Agile mentor and coach to other Scrum Masters or any Agile role
* Strong communication, problem solving, and influencing skills
Basic Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED
* At least 2 years of Agile experience
* At least 1 year of experience leading a team as a scrum master
* At least 1 year experience working in Jira
* Scrum Master certification
Preferred Qualifications:
* PMP, Lean, Agile, Six Sigma certification
* SAFe certified or experience (or other scales Agile frameworks)
* Certified Product Owner
