Systems Administrator

The Challenge:

Were looking for a systems administrator with an mid-level knowledge of networking, server configurations and computer lab work to help us meet the customer's needs.

As a systems administrator on our project, youll set up local and wide area network systems, design and plan ongoing infrastructure changes, and provide daily operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for the server, storage, and network devices in both Windows and Linux environments. Youll help customers overcome the challenges that come with virtual environments. Youll help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience and broaden your skillset into areas like VMware, migration planning and implementation. We focus on growing as a team, so well share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. You Have:

-Experience with Microsoft and Linux

-Experience with building and configuring servers

-Experience with ESXi hosts and virtual machines

-Knowledge of basic networking and Cisco switches

-Knowledge of access controls, backups, and firewalls

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Knowledge of virtual environments

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree

-Security + Certification

-Cisco Certified Network Associate or CompTIA Network+ Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
