Description

Management position, oversees and manages residential dining and catering operations. Responsible for developing and executing solutions to meet customer needs by facilitating the delivery of prepared food specifically created for the dining facility or from a catering event-specific work order.

Essential Functions:

* Leadership: Ensure dining facility and catering operations connect to the Executional Framework to deliver consistent quality in planning and execution. Leverage ARAMARKs solutions to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency within consumer driven offerings. Manage employees to ensure quality in final presentation of food and to ensure knowledge of food menus and promotional calendars. Model and reinforce ARAMARK's coaching process. Reward and recognize employees. Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback. Plan and execute team meetings and daily huddles. Complete and maintain all staff records including training records, schedules, and performance data.


* Client Relationship: Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships. Demonstrate excellent customer service using ARAMARK's standard model. Implement communication strategy as provided by marketing team to build catering revenue and student retention.


* Financial Performance: Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue forecasts. Adopt all ARAMARK processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, ordering and inventory trends to improve margins.


* Productivity: Responsible for executing catering events of varied size and scope, including staffing and management. Ensure accurate reporting of all revenue, expenses, and receivables. Coordinate activities with other departments as appropriate. Create value through efficient operations, costs, and profit management. Comply with the Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food and labor initiatives.


* Compliance: Ensure compliance with ARAMARK food, occupational and environmental safety policies in all service operations. Comply with all applicable policies, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage, and hour.



Additional Responsibilities:

* Manage the front of the house in the Residential Dining Facility and Catering Department team in conjunction with the General Manager.
* Plan, direct and coordinate food service activities to deliver a finished product to customers.
* Maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to build a unified food service experience for all customers.



Qualifications

* Requires at least 2 years of experience and prior experience in a management role
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
