Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Security Manager 1 to support our Colorado Springs, CO location.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

This position rsquo;s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Minimum: $88,080
Salary Maximum: $132,120

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

- Active Top Secret security clearance AND/OR SCI access with a background investigation date within the past 6 years

- Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) access(es)

- Bachelor 39;s degree with a minimum 5 years related Industrial Security work experience; an additional 4 years of direct relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement

- Must have in-depth knowledge of and experience with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manuals for Special Access Programs (SAP) and ICDs.

- Ability to effectively engage with team members on completion of tasks

- Ability to recognize opportunities and take independent action to resolve challenges

- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience managing Industrial Security programs and/or proposals

- Familiarity with JPAS Level 3/6 access authority and/or DISS

- Familiarity with DD254 requirements, creation and modification

- Physical Security experience specifically related to the construction and/or accreditation of classified facilities

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with both internal and external customers

- Ability to maintain flexibility and deal with changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast paced environment

- Working knowledge of the Enterprise Security Information System/Security Information Management System (ESIS/SIMS)
