This security management position will serve as the Security Manager/Facility Security Officer (FSO) with responsibility to manage the DoD security program for NGMS San Diego CA. Position requires expertise in all disciplines of the industrial security field. This position will be required to interface with all levels of sector, division and government management, personnel and maintain the skills to cultivate relationships for optimal contract security performance. In addition, the position is responsible to provide security oversight and guidance to program international pursuits.
This position will report directly to the Networked Information Systems Divisions Security Manager: required to be able to collaborate effectively with his/her peers within the other business units, divisions, as well as the sector staff.
In addition to expertise in all disciplines of the security field, the successful candidate will possess a breadth of demonstrated business, financial, and management skills, knowledge, and abilities to ensure maximum effectiveness. Interface with all levels of corporate and government management personnel.
Expectation of a confident demeanor and able to make critical security decisions for dynamic business units that support high value contracts. Be able to drive constructive change within the organization.
Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written.

Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Clearance.
Bachelors and a minimum 5 years Industrial Security experience or Master 39;s and 3 years experience.
Prior completion of, or successful completion with in 90 days of hire, of the DCSA CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities (IS030.CU).
Knowledge of and experience implementing the requirements of DoD 5220.22-M, the national industrial security program operating manual (NISPOM).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous supervisory or management experience.
Special Access Program (SAP) experience and knowledge of DoDM-5205.07,volumes1-4.
Knowledge of and experience implimenting the requirments of the ICD 705.
Professional Security certification (e.g. ASIS CPP, CDSE SFPC, CDSE SPSC)
